Bipolar motor fans 2022

Starting up development on new mini Bipolars.

Per usual, it starts out life as a simple drawing...

... I have amassed over 1000 armatures of various colors and voltages.

(Mostly pulled & torn out of scrapped electro junk.)

This will put my limited electrical skill to the final test.

Fun, weird, and unique motor fans coming soon. 😎

...Harvested copper, (for coils).

...Many gauges to choose from, for mixed strength (torque) & voltage tolerance.

Some are already wrapped,

Others had to be looped, wrapped & organized by hand.

They are all lacquered or otherwise varnished/ insulated.

...So...many...colors!

Each armature,

a future mini Bipolar fan.... Close to 100 are in these PICS.

(Voltage ranges 1.5-12volts, dependent on individual armature.)

...Sustainability.

Just one  "can type" DC motor armature

gives me over 60+ components to work with-!

...And not one...not 2... But 3 individual lengths of coil wire..

Perfect gauge for mini use.

The armature laminations can be used as

vents/ "tab foot" bases or tripod fan bases. 👍😎

I even get insulators, spacers, metal rod,

commutator and 1 brass component.

(I paid nothing for this,

as I tear apart & scrap electro-junk garbage nobody wants.)

As an added bonus,

it helps recycle or otherwise repurposed used junk.

Teaser...

But seriously, I have not forgotten about the mini bipolars this year.

Just need to run more tests before a SAMPLE can be offered.

This is my "NFS" research model.

...Idea!

This build is NOT  mine.  (To whomever built it or DIY it, you did a great job). 😎

But its really cool, and gives me plenty of fresh ideas on how

I can make bipolar fans look like something the 1980s movie TRON.

...

Shown working.  12V DC.

Neatly built, and gave me 2 starting options.

1.) Plug it in, it works and starts automatically.

2.) Plug it in, only this time, it gives YOU the option to start it.

(Gave the blade a slight spin and away it goes).

Smooth running, blade easily removable.

Other  Ideas...

Keeping Options open... 🤔💡

These are probably going to be intricate, complicated builds. 😵

At least the lamp one looks easy enough...
