Anthony Lindsey
Picked up this fan. Everything original but the cage as it says Delco Light. But now I think its original as it has N.P. 17315 A which I have seen similar on other GE tags. I have a couple Brass Bell Oscillator's that have NP 16652. Anyone familiar with this type or have any info? Has Blue/purple coil.

Steve Butler
My 12” Delco Light tag says GE. The badge is the only difference. I’m sure yours is correct too. Nice find by the way. 👍
Russ Huber
Anthony's fan is correct. Another way for GE to get their fingers in the Delco farm plant money making pie.
Steve Rockwell
Is this, even possibly, a 9-inch fan?
Anthony Lindsey
Your correct. It is 9".
Anthony Lindsey
Is the oscillator missing something? I can't get the knob to hold.

Russ Huber
Images credited to Steveo. I am not 100%, but think you have a missing brass sleeve component.
Russ Huber
Anthony, sorry for the intrusion, but I couldn't resist. Not advertising. So many will pass over a mid 20s + Signal Electric fan motor. In the start of the video of past I provided here, is a mid to late 30s Signal 12" 32 VDC farm plant fan. I don't know about you, but when it is running on the first part of the video on high or low speed, do you hear this brush motor running? You should feel the weight of this fan when carrying it. It was designed and introduced shortly after Henry Tideman's death in 35.
Anthony Lindsey
Hi Russ, Steve, No worries. Very quiet motor, like a soft breeze. The GE is very quiet but I don't think it is running full speed. It needs to be taken apart an everything cleaned up etc. Your correct, it is missing the sleeve. Thanks for the picture. Could prove difficult to get. Steve, Thanks for the link and parts list! Appreciate it.
David Yurko
A delco light fan is on my bucket list, I'm pretty sure the 2/3 star sleeve will fit that fan, Chad has them for sale on his web site, I can verify since I have the AC version of that fan. https://antiquefanparts.com/original-brass-guide-sleeve-for-oscillator-arm-to-wheel-ge-star-oscillator/
