Louis Luu
Did not realized Bing made toy electric fans? I have some of their motors/dynamos for steam engines.

Steve Cunningham
Somewhere I have to windup fans. Both toy fans. 4” blades. They run and oscillate for a minute. I think they were made by Bing.

Bill Dunlap
Bada Bang! I had one of these carbs on my German Maico dirt bike. The screws holding the top backed out racing deep in Mexico. Full throttle until the motor went BANG!
Nicholas Denney
As you may have seen on Facebook I was the tentative auction winner but after some second thoughts and issues that came up the fan will be staying in the EU. Didn't go high at all, under $500 even after int'l shipping. My thought it that it was a setup used by the toy company... for testing sailboats maybe??? It's obvious that a tag was once on the motor as you can see holes and a faint ghosting.

I will fabricate a handle to match. As for the blade, I might replace it with a more suitable blade...Blackman blade.
Jim Kovar
Wow!, that's cool, Louis. I would've guessed earlierthan 1924. By chance,... were Ignazand Adolf twins? Edited September 16, 2022 by Jim Kovar
Louis Luu
This has gotta be the worst food advertisement. Pink pillowy filling and that thing that reminds me of what I accidentally stepped on. Thanks Jim. Michael Rathberger
First of all, it was a nice item. I did not bid on it but watched. I liked the controller(?) More than the fan if I'm remembering what was offered. That said, why would someone bid an item up, win, then cancel it? If you don't want to pay that much just don't bid an amount you can't pay and save the rest of us the money.

Michael Rathberger
Sorry Louis. I misread the posts. It seemed to indicate another bid and cancelled. No worries. Nice piece. Did you get the rheostat too?
