Nicholas Denney
Remember that crazy pancake motor from so many years ago? This example also has no ID tag. 🤯
Russ Huber
Stefan has/had another at his relic shack in Wisconsin I spotted while on guided tour in the past. His has stuff mounted on it as well. I still have no clue who made it, or what purpose it served exactly. That make 3 so far, and the one I had just had the motor sans all the rest. Steve Rockwell
Â Â Â After Grandfather died, a fish tank air pump turned up at our house... nice fractional hp motor, the frame a bit taller than in the photo below, with a leather belt and all the moving parts in brass, very nice-looking... When the motor gave out, the unit got tossed before I could lay claim and repair it... Â Â The one above might be a variant, regulator of sorts on the end, air filter et cetera to run an airbrush, and way too much motor?........ Russ Huber
It was essentially a CF motor that could be bolted down on its side. I think it would have worked great driving belt driven ceiling fans. Edited October 11, 2022 by Russ Huber
