Jim Roadt
The back motor grill has two missing and one broken spoke. Leave it, repair it or replace entire grill ? I assume duplicatingĀ and soldering aluminum spoke on would be cost prohibitive and difficult. Finding a replacement equally difficult. Guess I am answering my own question
Patrick Ray
Don't have the grille in hand to really look it it, but can you fab some replacements with aluminum flat stock?
Jim Roadt
That would be unlikely

Jim Roadt
Next step replace aluminum base and yoke with cherry wood.Ā Level holes in yoke and hope it fits Edited December 18, 2021 by Jim Roadt spelling
Jim Roadt
Found glazing motor grill to simulate wood grain does not look very good in my hands.Ā Remedy with a dark walnut paint and stain the cherry wood very darkĀ
Jim Roadt
next step attempted a few times to replicate original pinstripe, also difficult to be satisfied with but after several attempts...did the best I could with paint pen. Compared to the original not horrible.Ā Ā Lighting on pic makes it look worse than it really is but not by much.Ā Got sick of repainting and pin striping over and over
Jim Roadt
yoke will take a few attempts for pin striping also....bigger pain to redo on stain than paint.Ā I will not attempt on base
