Thank you Russ for your support.  As many have seen I have fought for years to make clear that a Meston is NOT the back switch Emerson with bronze end bells.   I decided that years ago but, for some time, was not totally sure.  After reading many cuts for the two fans it was clear to me, finally, that the Meston is a Meston and it is not the back switch Induction Motor which itself, if NOT a Meston.  The information I had to go through may not have made it clear to most people but I have been convinced now for many years.    There were and are quite a few advanced AFCA members and old timers who would not agree with my final decision so I lightened up on my fighting on the subject but, still, had to put in an occasional post about the old Mestons and Induction Motor fans in the hopes that more would come to a correct decision

.

I am buttering you up for an opportunity at some of those pristine antique fans of yours in your will. No sweat about the cat hair, I have that already worked out. Fact Jack

I occasionally have time to groom my cats but rarely my old fan.  I don't think I ever brought Milkman to a Fanfair but he would have enjoyed it.  He was born in 1986 and was a wonderful cat that was up to all sorts of adventures.

Back to fans.  Below is my 1898 10" stick pancake.   Milkman, below, tried to run through it when it was running..  No harm was done to the GE or Milkman.

It's irrefutable,... Emerson
Induction motor fans are
not Mestons.   Period!

This image was posted by Steve Stephens on the old website on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 11:42 PM on Bill Hoehn's post entitled " Another MESTON Comes Home".  The title is exactly like Bill posted it. He posted an Emerson 95-96 back lever induction desk fan acquisition. Bill Hoehn is no longer with us today, in 2017 Bill Hoehn was very much alive. I am sure Steve appreciates the present support, Jim.

You see, I am going to stay good with Steveo, no matter what he says, he has some dandy fans I have my eyes on for the future.  I have the tape rollers in storage. 🙂

It'll take more
