Eric Johnson Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Hello all, I’m new to the fan forum. I’ve got a presumably 1930s ish GE 49x714 pedestal fan that belongs to my father, who got it from his father. It’s in rough shape, but the fan motor still spins and runs like a clock. The oscillator and the pedestal mount are the two things I think I need. I’m not well versed in these fans but I do have a good mechanical background. If someone who was very familiar with these fans could help me figure out what I’m missing, and maybe point me to someone with parts, or a parts fan that would be great! Hoping to get this back together by Christmas but that’s becoming more of a long shot by the day. Let me know if you can help! Thanks! P.S. I’d like to share pictures on this forum but it won’t let me for some reason, so if you think you might be able to help, message me some form of contact info and I can provide some pics. Thanks again! Quote
Lane Shirey Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 I probably have an oscillator once I can see your pics and what you need. Quote
