Bob Kennedy
Just checking to see if any of you fine folks have a wiring diagram for my 1930 non-oscillating single speed fan. All the wires were cut on it when I bought it. The Japan on it is in great shape. I need the procedure on how to take the blades of as well. Thanks Everyone And Merry Christmas to you all
Dave McManaman
You need to insert a screwdriver or similar object through a vent hole in the back to lock the rotor, pointed away from the windings. Don’t want to slip and hit a winding. Turn the blade clockwise, the same direction it spins. You may need to heat the hub up front to melt some of the old grease if it doesn’t turn loose. Regarding wiring, it’s a two wire all the way. Here’s a diagram Chris Campbell sent me when I first started and in regard to a ‘30 Emmy Jr Edited December 25, 2022 by Dave McManaman
