Jared DelOrfano
Fans seem to find me every time I tell myself “this will be the last fan I get for a while.” Does anyone else have this problem? Just picked up this Signal Cool Spot 1250. Needs a new head wire so I have not tested it, but the motor spins beautifully. The fan has a really cool “Serviced By” sticker on the base. I wonder those folks are the ones who swapped out some of the old acorn nuts on the front of the fan.
Jared DelOrfano
I may need to opt for the patina restoration on this guy!
Paul Carmody
(Quote) Does anyone else have this problem? I’m not sure? It depends on how many fans is a problem? I would ask the Doc ,but he has more fans than anyone!! Edited December 31, 2022 by Paul Carmody
Russ Huber
I see the 1250 in the 33 and 34 catalogues. Henry Tideman was in charge of engineering in that time period. For the life in me, I would love to know his logic using clockwise and counterclockwise blade rotation on different desk fan motors of the same year? Vic Valencheck
I know what you mean Jared. I've bought many fans that I never have thought to buy and there they are. They can be cheap, expensive or odd ball fans. You have to have them. It's a disease and there is no cure for it. May you find many more fans for the New Year!
