I had the oval oscillating Freezer fan and it had the same handle.

Another attempt at pontypool

Literally put this on with a stick.  Some bubbles some thin spots. I will  let it dry for a few days then long and slow at 250 and see how it goes. Possibly 2nd coat.  Yoke was easier just dipped in can directly ( I was not prepared to hang it and had to use whatever was in reach)

I would not recommend this as a replacement to japan ( original or Rick ) nor any other method done in experienced hands.

This is not a great paint job by any means, however, it is simple and more fun than rattle can imho

Few days of cooking and completely set.  A little too grainy for my liking 20230118_132718.thumb.jpg.d02bdb6e555fdab2c552dd9e0e455ab7.jpg20230118_132737.thumb.jpg.9ba7298b3bbe34a0e0f30dc126ee37b9.jpg

I prefer perfect shiny looking ( like Bill Dunlap can do ) and if I cant achieve that...like never.  I will go for older beatup Japan look.  I took the shine off with medium polish, recook them and see what happens.  Not recommended for valuable fans20230122_115202.thumb.jpg.eaf62ab005c6cffb7f15e76ed137710e.jpg

If you can't get perfect go for imperfect.   Some hand polishing with finish wax and it is looking like imperfect Japan20230125_180116.thumb.jpg.a52e692e3345a3ee9bba79adfb086e98.jpg16746914791994796032809037226156.thumb.jpg.45800597abcd5989d8775114ce8a8906.jpg
