I BET YOU CAN MAKE MOTOR COVERS, BASES  AND GRILLES, BUT I WANT TO SEE YOU MAKE TINY LITTLE KEYBOARD PUSHBUTTONS!

I only made 1... Long ago...

Making it, (cutting, shaping of parts...Is OK..)

...However, actually getting it to Work... That was another story... 😵 😵

...Springs, tension...

...Not energized, buttons not staying down...

...buttons not popping up, not turning off...

...Thankfully,

Variable Speed (Infinite Speed) Option is much easier to equip,

and offers a better control of speed... Just dial in your desired speed.

...

Push Button / Piano Key as methods of changing speed still remain the

most difficult to miniaturize currently.

Due to this particular plastic's nature,

Distortions of light exist within the blade.

These distortions will seem to "glow" under certain lighting conditions.

First PIC shows it best:

...So hear me out on this one:

💡💡💡 "Edison" style Bi-polar (or to be determined) type VINTAGE fan.

I am going for that "Holmes Air Fashion Fan" 1980's aesthetic/ vibe...

Pastel colors & use of PLASTIC (waste/ recycling product).

...should be... an interesting build. 🤔

Blades include:

"The GEMERSON",

Westinghouse,

and a NEW type of GE "Standard" blade.  I call it the 'Newline'  Blade.

Gemerson & Newline feature a NEW method of blade pitch design.

Note the center "star" on these blades:

This is done by bending the blades forward,

then backward using the center as a reference point.

The result is a better, easier to balance blade.

These run virtually silent.

...(The following may contain fictional & nonfiction GE fan timeline:)

...

...

...sometime after GE's "Trim-line" fans in the early 1960's:

..There was an idea forming...

...GE needed a NEW line of fans...🤔

The GE 'NEWLINE' was born,

based off a modified Standard fan blade from the 1950's.

Enclosed is the one of 2 surviving PICS:

...2nd PIC:

One can barely make out a Westinghouse inspired "Ring badge"

Swirl ring cage,

And an odd "open" base... Perhaps to save on material costs???

There appears a lamp option on it...

...gE '68.

...GE still proves the most interesting fan brand...

...they had the innovative designs, especially blade design.

But... Uh-Oh...

What's this?!

...Looks like competition ahead...!

it's none other than:

...I've been slowly expanding my logo library...

(Coming Soon)

National, Panasonic/ "Panacool" battery lamp fans.

I have prepared many different lamp parts for this.

Working on modular design for easy model of miniature 8", 9", 12", 16" types.

Scale of these mini fans to be decided, but currently near 1/6 scale.
