Tom Stone Posted March 5, 2023 Share Posted March 5, 2023 Can anyone give me some guidance on removing the gears from this gearbox? I searched the forums, but found no clear answer. Is the vertical shaft pressed into the oscillator bell? Also, the large brass screw covering the end of the horizontal shaft only unscrews about 1/4 turn. I don’t want to force anything, but I’d like to clean the grease out, polish the brass screws, and repaint the housing.
