Jim Roadt
Is there a safe way to put a blade with. 365 opening on a .310 shaft? Wanted to replace old creased blade with a new blade. Or am I stretching the bounds of science

You're not stretching the bounds of science, you're committing sacrilege. That is an authentic cast Eck hub, you can replace the wings and still have a reasonable chance to get into Heaven. I was in this situation once with the very same blade. I had the wings replaced and made peace with my maker.

Lawrence Smith
I’d have new wings put in the correct blade, that oversized blade will be a problem
Jim Henderson
I'm with Russ. You might even have the blades removed, slip rolled and re-riveted.

Dave Dalsin used to have an English Wheel to roll wings (flatten the creases). Dave has health issues is no longer with us. Last, I recall, Nick Loos had one, but if he is still doing blade/guard work, he would probably recommend replacing the wings.

Russ Huber
Jim, find out if the spider was custom made on the brass wing example, or, what did that black hub spider come off from? You own both of these blades.
