This image was posted in distant past, and I don't recall anyone including myself putting a name to the motor designer. The 1880s has an expanding number of motors with fan blade applications.  Yes, you DID bring the Pendleton motor to the surface.

If you use Google patents you simply enter "Improvements in Electric Motors" followed by a year such as 1885, etc.
