Russ Huber Posted March 24, 2023 Share Posted March 24, 2023 (edited) It appears a number of the oscillating Whiz fans have an Achilles hell, that being the small brass gear run off the rotor shaft worm. Has anyone ever reproduced them, or found and alternative replacement? I have picked up a few over time, but have had no interest in restoring one. I have seen them restored on Ebay in past command a fair amount of jing. The earliest Whiz model is built like tank, and I would imagine due to its lack of brass, it gets snubbed.
