David A Cherry
Granddaughter’s birthday so I have been vacuuming, but I managed to squeeze in some final detail work, Louis is very happy, so we will go down that path, here’s the latest sneak peek of where we are at so far.. The quarter sawn oak wooden block has been angled and shaped from just being square and flat, as well as re-stain a little darker.. pretty much just winging it as I go.. I don’t want it to be too shiny, so I have chosen to clear it in a matte finish. Update …Louis Luu has generously offered to have this replica of a Fuller wall mount along with a porter #1 and blade mounted to a ornate table, be auctioned off at the AFCA museum with the proceeds going to It’s general fund.. The date and time i’m assuming will be published in The Fan Collector… I will be painting tomorrow. Followed by final assembly. Hopefully it doesn’t rain… Edited April 8, 2023 by David A Cherry
