Info wanted on 9"Menominee Fan

Just got this 9" Menominee AC/DC fan  NO. 12584.  Runs great except the oscillator won't turn.  I took the top off and the worm gear turns but doesn't touch the gear on the left.  I think I need a new gear, so does anyone know where I can get one?

BTW, Marvin, measure your blade diameter again and see if you lose and inch off of 9". 🙂

The large brass knob on top of the gearbox engages the oscillator. Is it fully turned clockwise?

Those small Menominee fans are nice Marvin.  Afraid I am no help-- mine is a non oscillator.

If you don't have any luck finding the gear, the gear box on Ideal fans looks like those on the Menominees.

The fan on the right is a 9 inch.

Me and Rick looked at that once. I don't think the same gear. Earlier was smaller if I remember.

Those gearboxes went through design, cast iron to die cast, and function changes roughly mid-teens and forward.
