Finished up this Jandus the other day

I tried to sell this fan in Indianapolis at a reasonable fan, but nobody wanted it  😞  It needed new bearings, but otherwise a very nice original fan.  It had the original headwire and appeared completely un-messed with.  So I messed with it.  It was low-hanging fruit for a easy restoration.  With my new-found fan time and a little help from my friends, we banged it out in several weeks.

This is the first of a small series I'm going to do in this color (RAL1014 Ivory).  I have a lot of black fans with polished brass.  So this one is reversed with ivory finish and blackened brass.  The original fan had blackened hardware, and perhaps copper oxide blades(?)  Thanks to Darryl Hudson for the new bearings and straightening out the bearing cap.  I caught him at a good time, and he got it done nearly overnight.  And thanks to Kim Franks for the advice and pointers on brass blackening.   I do think I will revisit the badge, as I'm not super happy with the antiquing on it.  I hope you like it!
