Good afternoon. The blades on this Vortalex I am working on has tips that appear to have the original clear coat or polish removed. I wanted to restore it, but did not want to put anything on the blade that could harm it. What would your suggestions be? Could you just use a paint thinner or deglosser to remove the original coating? Or should you just try to wax it and clear it up? Also, I have the original For the center that has broken off, could you hot glue that piece back on or do you just need to get a replacement center cap?
