I saw this dental rig for sale.  Does anyone recognize the ball motor?image.thumb.jpeg.e038c88348a5e66adc0d2032cc1a5c4d.jpeg

Lol Russ just beat me to it! Ritter made ball motors for many years. I almost bought one of these in the past, and am SO glad the temporary insanity passed before I could find my wallet! 😝

I have seen those motors at 110vac and 220dc. We had one of those at the dental supply company I used to work for. I have one of those motors with the dental arm on it. It's in the attic in a box. Probably made 1910s or so. There was a dentist in southern Kansas that was still using one of those about 25 years ago. I went down there to work on it but when I looked at there was nothing we could do to repair it. There is a company that is still around and uses the Ritter name, I believe the company is actually Midmark.
