Rust conversion tip

For those who aren't aware, Loctite makes a rust conversion liquid that does an admirable job and would improve the looks of many fans that have some rust, especially at the base.

Below is an example of what it can do. I used on my garden shed handles. More than one application may be necessary depending on the degree of rust. But in the picture you can see the level of rust on the latch which covered the entirety of the handles and hardware. I like the effect.

No, just the one. The rust you see on the latch was uniform all over the handles.

Yes that stuff and The Original Naval Jelly work well in my experience.
