Jim Kovar Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 This cake just sold at an online auction. Anyone here git 'er? Quote
James Lawson Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Not me. Looks like an older restoration 1901 or '02. I can't see the lettering on the brass label. Any idea what it closed at? I've got a painful memory associated with a 1901 GE pancake, so I highly doubt if I'd even be bidding on one. Quote

Louis Weedman Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 I was hungry, needed some good supper. Yummy! 1 Quote
James Lawson Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 If the tag over the switch was missing on a 1902, are there mounting holes that would be a giveaway that it used to be there? Otherwise, what differentiates a 1902 from an '01? I know 1901 was when the motor ventilation holes first appeared, so it's easy to tell a 1901 from say a 1900 or earlier. Quote
James Lawson Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Not that I'll ever have the need for this information, but just curious, did any production figures survive from the pancake era? Quote
Louis Weedman Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Picked up the fan earlier this morning, lucked out that it was my day off work! Happy happy 😃, but not my wallet... 5 Quote
James Lawson Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Glad it turned out to be as nice in person as it looked in the pictures. Congratulations on a nice score! 1 Quote
