John Nyman
Beautiful fan, the wear is pleasing and the tags top it off nicely and it's a great model GE to begin with....sweet!

Russ Huber
I shared/posted some fans last night from an old flash drive of mine of the past for interest. I was taken back when I came across this one. I think other examples Mayo related have surfaced in past.
James Lawson
That's a cool piece of history. I have a couple of fans with a medical history, but nothing like that Mayo Clinic id plate.
Russ Huber
I live roughly one hour from Mayo. That was working to my advantage in past. 🙂

Christian Kasprzyk
That is awesome! It is beautiful! I also have a Mayo Clinic fan, however it is nowhere near as nice as this. It’s a 1950s LivelyAire with the plastic blade. Thing was dirt cheap and already rewired so I bought it. Mine also does not have an actual name plate, Mayo was just carved into it and ad you can see, there are some stickers. The one says “biomedical safety inspection” It also had one of those yellow safety nets with it. It seems this fan was used at least through the early 90s. It was messed with in other ways, the original screw for the oscillator was gone so I had to steal one off of a worse condition one that I have that won’t oscillate. In the end it turned out pretty nice but a Westinghouse like this really has nothing over yours. Great piece Russ!
