Vic Valencheck Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Is there a tool or procedure that would hone down the end of a 1/8" wire to 3\32" so it fits into the ring of a westy cage? Quote
Chris Campbell Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Easiest when straight and can use lathe. 1/32 total removed would be 1/64 all around and could use a small file to knock out quickly 1 Quote
Michael Rathberger Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 I think Kim mention one time a threading die will take it down. Not sure for that thick of a wire but you can test on a scrap piece. He liked that it left a ridge. I tried it on small wires it did what I needed. Quote
George Durbin Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 (edited) Yup! A small threading die works great! That is what Paul uses... I have tried it and it works great!
