Jim Roadt Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 Thanks to Bill for saving base and new blade If anyone going to fanfair has brush caps and/or cage with two struts I would be interested Quote
Jim Roadt Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 Found a cage and switched blade I believe that is the correct position for blade 3 Quote
Darwin Costello Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Boy that came out great, buffed to perfection. Nice job. Looks good! Quote
Levi Mevis Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 No, the way the blade was before (where the setscrew portion of the hub faced the back of the fan) was correct, the way you have it setup now is incorrect and will make the fan run incorrectly. Quote

I know it looks wrong because we see so many fans with the set screw behind the blade assembly (between blade set and motor) but on this model it is out front. Quote

OK, Thanks for letting me know. I've never ran into one of these fans before so I just assumed they were like all of the other fans I have seen. Quote
