Westinghouse Tank Trouble

I'm working on a 1908 16'' Westinghouse Tank and need some help testing the stator. I have 20 ohms on the headwire but no continuity on the two wires for the centrifugal switch. I get a reading of 2 ohms from one centrifugal switch wire to one headwire and 20 ohms to the other. When I twist the centrifugal switch wires together, the headwire still reads 20 ohms.

I can't get any reading at all on the other centrifugal switch wire, so I assume that's a problem. The entire plate with the three fingers had fallen off inside after the screws backed out. I can't find any damage anywhere on the stator, but I found all three screws and a spring laying inside along with some broken pieces of insulation.

If the stator is bad, is there any chance of finding one, or is this one for display only?
