A very nice find indeed. The motor makes no noise whatsoever, and the fan blows a good bit of air without making any noise at all. I'm probably completely wrong because I jinx everything I say, but this seems like the kind of fan that many people have photocopied advertisements and patents of, and is rather common.

Is this fan rare? Looking on the forums, this appears to be the first of it's kind.

I would imagine that, since there's only one other known image, it's at least hard to come by.
