Update- OK I got a can of this rustoleum aged metallic vintage gold and I would say it’s a pretty good match. It captures the spirit of the yellowiness of the original. i might actually play around with a blackish flat glaze on it to see if I can dirty it up.

Anyone have a good match (ideally on the shelf metallic spray paint?) for Emerson gold painted blades (teens thru 20’s).
I’ve pondered ordering bronze powders from Crescent Bronze and making my own paint. They have a huge variety of golds to choose from. Seems so many metallics now have a pearl effect to them where’s the rig Al paints were just bronze powder pigment.

Yeah. I have a few with gold. Just curious if someone has already done the work of trying various colors and finally fiding the one that matches best. Because we all know how crappy the kids on gold spray paint match the actual product

There’s an Ace Hardware paint that matches pretty well.  I can’t remember exactly which gold it is.

Are you saying an ace hardware brand?? Didn’t know they had their own. Or do you mean a rustoleum sold at ace?
