"Bear" Fan

Hey Steve,

if memory serves me correct I think Bear fans were rebranded Polor Cub/Gilbert maybe Berstead’s from the 20’s ? 😽

Bersted bought out United Electric (Eskimo trademark) in 36.

I have a pedestal Bear. They were made by Gilbert.  Cub was the baby fan, and Bear was the full-grown fan series.

did the Bear ever exist as a 16" fan ?? got several of the 12" Bears, all tattered, torn & nearly used up

My Ped is 10” I think? It’s been a while since I messed with it. It needs a lot of work.
