Vic Valencheck
I'm almost done restoring an Emerson 11666 . I'm looking at the struts and thinking they may be incorrect. They look like they had been straight but someone had bent them to fit. Anyone have a picture of an original strut for this fan?
Steve Sherwood
This is off my 11666.
Ben Guegain
I had an 11646 with straight struts and they were for sure original to the fan. I've seen the 11's both ways. Especially if you have an earlier 11 it seemed they had the older 1510 style straight struts.

Ben Guegain
Your struts have a turn at the end though which is strange. Reminds me more of my old 1610 struts. They are really annoying when trying to attach guard. My guess is that struts are correct.
Bill Dunlap
The six wing Emersons I've seen all had offset struts, and there are two versions I've seen for the 12 inch fans. In any case, you'll find out soon enough when you mount the cage how much offset you're going to need. Cheers, Bill
Steve Stephens
From my files I have this very original looking 11666 with struts as shown. I have an original 11646 with the same style struts.
Vic Valencheck
Thanks guys for your input. I guess I will have to see what it looks like when I put the cage back on. This is how it looked before I did anything.
