I am going to get it powder coated and wanted to avoid leaving that on it.     Trust me,   last thing I want to do is remove it.

This will blend right in with your gloss black powder coat. Been there done that matching pot metal Emerson pivot and collar with powder coated housing and base.

Or....go ahead and bang away on it.

I was there once, Anthony. I, like you, wanted to do it right and disassemble it. And then God spoke to me and said, "thou shalt not take this apart". It was divine intervention that directed me on the right path.  🙂

Yes! But God did not tell me I needed a new worm gear machined. However, God directed me to the great and powerful Mike Petree who with his mighty lathe cures all pain fans can inflict! 🙂
