Pending unknown information, it appears fan marketing for Star Electric starts to fade at this point. The company continues to manufacture, however, right into the end of the post-war.

1943 - Carl M. Peterson, a co-founder of Star Electric dies in March of 1943.

1944 - Many men were drafted right out of the factories during World War Two. Star was no exception, but still had a large number of strategic war contract employees for a number of lucrative wartime government contracts.
