A clue. If you saw a few more missing inches of the fan above, you would nail it lickity split. 🙂

Diehl. Probably their #12 or earlier fan. Late 1890's-1910 (or so). Nice image to show the pressed brass switch dome enclosing the snap switch mechanism.

You'll find the Pennsylvania Electric Co. Crescent DC desk & ceiling fans still on the market in 09. DC was for most part a later death sentence for thousands and thousands of way cool fans.

Darn, I was off by a model number. What shall I do?

The crowns only got taller the higher the model number. I think this was their #16.
