Here is one variation of BMY.

It is a four pole wound with three lap wound coils per pole and a conventional start winding.

Nice.  I've heard that BMY's are difficult to rewind -- not sure which variation though.

I personally have thrown a few complex projects Mark's way.

My first was a burned up Vader coil. This is a choke and step up transformer in one.

The second was a 110 volt common Westinghouse tank. Here's the kicker. It was rewound for Jan in Australia 🇦🇺 for 220.
