Lawrence Smith Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 After years got it going this weekend. Dead stator, burnt speed coil & capacitor. Runs good, need some final tuning. 9 Quote

Being they are capacitor start motors they start and run smooth as silk. I found a set of them in a local antique shop when I was a sprout in the game and sold them both with regret. They have a desk fan version. Janca designed the octagon base. 1 Quote
Lawrence Smith Posted July 17, 2023 Author Posted July 17, 2023 Does anyone know the winding differences in the next phase of these with the deep pitched blades? The housing is smaller , d so a new design must have incorporated Quote
Alvin Chan Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I'd like a Emerson Pedestal fan. Is that oil tube cover an original feature? The three 77s I have do not have that. I use a piece of tape. Any close up pics it? I started with a 77646-CE around 8 years ago. $25 flea market buy. Recently got a GE 49x716 and GE 49x471, but they don't seem to be as quiet, and run very hot. Just picked up a 77646-AS for $40. I prefer the Emersons. Quote
