Supplies was running low so I added another one.  One thing I do noticed from 16 lollipops I have owned.  There are at at least three different strut styles and at least 4 different hub styles.  Today, I encounter another different blade hub stye.

Dang Louis. Save some for the rest of us. 😆 Seriously though, congrats and thanks for the info on variations.

Please post the 4 hub styles for 16”

Most of mine are for 12".  I got rid of my 16".  I'll post some pictures when the weather permits.  Here is what I've noticed.  The back is the same....has the raided "cross".  The front center varies.  Some are all round.  Some are round with cut corners aligned with one side of the strut and some are round with cut centers.

These are not mine.  I'll post mine later.  I do have original ones that match these.  The first one is round with one side matching one side of the strut.  The second one is more square.  I have the ones that are also round and round with indentation.

My blade is so out of balance. Cant strobe mounted to stump. Wants to flip fan over. Can’t do the speed wire until I have a good blade running.

Now I'm totally lost.  The reason I wanted to see the back of yours was I did not recognize the front and thought it might possibly be another hub style.  The back threw me out of my chair.

I have never seen a rounded hub front like yours on a 12" or a 16".  I have never seen one without the back raised "cross" skeleton.  The only lollipop blade hub I have run into have this as the back for both 12" and 16".

That is definitely an R&M blade hub but I have never seen it without the "cross" skeleton on a lollipop.

This is the other style used on only 16”. Cast hub is alternative hub you are more familiar with.

Have you made the cast version for 16”. At this point for me would be easier to pull blades and straighten or just start from scratch.

No....only for the 12" but would be easy to fix it for the 16".  I did not know they had that on the 16".....much appreciated.  I have another question....was this particular style hub ever used on the 12"?

I think that The blade from Chris' fan was outsourced by R&M from Westinghouse. I have  a 16" R&M and  a 16" Western Electric Victor, both came with the exact same blade. A DC 16" Victor pop fan came with the squared off pizza slice blades riveted to the cast iron plated hub. Haven't studied serial numbers on these but just guessing that the Westy style blades were on the very last of the Lollipop run preceeding the intro of the Feathervane oscillator ???
