Cage repair

Where do I get this crimping piece?  Is it just crimped on?  Can the S wire be slipped back into joint?  GE Pullman cage.

Asking for a friend who dropped it

K&S brass tubing #8128 assuming the front ring is .125 diameter. You can make a crimping tool for yourself by modifying diagonal cutters or perhaps buy one from a tool supply company.

Or buy one at Home Depot and return it when you’re done.
