Christopher Harding
I recently acquired this beauty from my good friend Al Schaefer. It is immaculate, of course. I don’t think it has ever seen much use. I did open the motor so that I could properly oil it. It runs smoothly and quietly. This fan was the ultimate model for its time and even has the “infinite” speed control. I may change out the wheels because I don’t believe they are the originals but that’s not a big deal. Such a great fan!

Michael Rathberger
My Mom bought one of those. Hers had 6 blades if I remember, maybe a little different. She'd run that every night in her bedroom window in Beverly, 9700 S Seeley, Chicago, during the summer. She had the coldest room in the house, ran it all night. Michael Rathberger
Same roof. Different landscaping. Lot of memories there, I still have my Dad's Servi-cycle, I road that thing all over one summer. 13 years old. Taught myself to drive stick at 15 in his 65 F150, straight six, 3 on the tree. Back when everything wasn't so serious, never even thought about a helmet on the bike...

Back when everything wasn't so serious, never even thought about a helmet on the bike... You were a young gear head living in a nice neighborhood. I rode without a helmet for most part in the 80s when you were supposed to know better. I rode the bike once non-stop except for fuel from home to Chamberlain, SD with no helmet and goggles on a sunny day. My head looked like a beet with two white patches when I checked in to the motel.
