Russ Huber Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 (edited) That is cool beans. In the event you would want to cheat chrome plate pricing for the guard, this Prismatic powder coat in the link below along with its recommended clear coat gets darn close to it. Terry Plata Posted August 29, 2023 Author Posted August 29, 2023 Thanks Russ! Now THAT is cool seeing the patent drawings. And I can see several applications for that Prismatic powder coating. I wonder if my local powder coat guy can do that? Or I could just bake it in my wife's kitchen oven. That would go over just great. Hey, It's HER fan after all! Quote

Go talk to a local REPUTABLE powder coater and tell him you're finishing a gift for your loving wife, get down on your knees and beg him to please help you shoot the guard. Tell him you can't afford an air conditioner and you want your loving wife comfortable. Wear some old holey jeans and a dirty T shirt and tell him all you have is a bag of potatoes and $20 bill until next pay period. Good luck! You will need this clear vision powder for the second shoot over the chrome powder. CLEAR VISION | PPS-2974 | Prismatic Powders Quote
