Russ Huber Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 (edited) What Fan Motors Between 1880s and 1900 had 5 wing blades? Belding so far leads the pack. Are there more? Edited August 30, 2023 by Russ Huber Quote
Steve Rockwell Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 I don't really know what I'm seeing here, to judge whether it slips under the wire before 1896..... Then there's Imperial, this listing from 1897, but now I'm well outside the parameters of the challenge..... Quote

Someone had a blade made in the likeness of an early Belding fan motor is what you're seeing. Probably the present owner of the motor. There are no known examples I am aware of with Belding fan motor with original blade. Edited August 30, 2023 by Russ Huber Quote

Jim Kovar Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Again, it looks like the engraver took a liberty. Quote
