Wow !! Being from the UK I've not come accross these 'pop' fans before.

I don't think fan design got quite as good this side of the pond !

I see that it goes left to right etc in front of the fan but what did it achieve ?

Great looking fans ... I can see why they are desirable.

Great looking fans ... I can see why they are desirable.

I beg to differ.  Fans from each country are unique in their worn way.  You need to look for some of the earlier British stuff....nice and heavy.  They even have pancake fans and some fancy oscillating orbital fans as well.

I agree, Louis.

What first came to my mind was the cool ways the French manufacturer Martinot got their early fans to oscillate or continuously 360° revolve.
