Gerry Meeks Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I am a new collector and I rely heavily on John Witt's "Collectors Guide to Electric Fans". His list of Emerson P/Ns have suffixs on them that I am having trouble deciphering. Is there a list somewhere of what these mean: B, AB, AA, AK, AD, D, C, AK-G, AH? I also have found a few 16" fans with AS on them and the suffix is not listed. They might be mfg after 1940, which the list ends with. I have searched the pre-50's forum and I did not see an explanation. Thanks. Quote
Steve Cunningham Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 The letter suffix is paint codes. Quote
Stan Adams Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 For the most part what Steve said, however, AK is a PSC motor & APG is a military fan. Quote
Gerry Meeks Posted September 4, 2023 Author Posted September 4, 2023 My thanks to both of you. Hope you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend. Quote
