Help me date this Peerless front oscillating fan type no. 240520

I'm having trouble dating the manufacture of this little Peerless front oscillator. I think it might be late teens or early 1920's. Can you assist? An original advertisement would be much appreciated if you have a copy. Thanks.

You can see an original ad in these pictures but I can't make out the date.

Mystery solved. I found a clear advertisement showing a March, 1917 date. Therefore the fan was originally made before then or around that time
