Russ Huber
The book link below when opened will display the page and image. The specialist will need to enlarge and enhance the segment of the photo, if possible, I have isolated at the very bottom. Russ Huber
Steve Rockwell found 2 fan motors in this 96 image in the past. Is there someone here with super talent to enlarge them with reasonable clarity? Edited November 10, 2023 by Russ Huber
Russ Huber
Steve Rockwell did spot and enhance to the best of his abilities in past a tall fan motor within the circle right hand side in his shared image seen here. It resembled at least in my mind the Bayley-Lee fan motor. Lee's motor patent was issued 1894 2 years prior to the Edison Illumination display of 96. Russ Huber
Steve Rockwell: Do you still have the image you enlarged of the two fan motors within the circle of this image? Would you please share it again here? It is the best we have so far. You shared it with me in past and I can't pin it down.
Russ Huber
It took a while to find the enhanced image in my Rockwell compilation of shared messages, but I found it. Steve Rockwell is credited with finding this one. If that blurry 96 pedestal fan motor is not sporting the 94 patented Lee motor, I'll eat it. This is half a decade ahead of Levi Wing's Electrical Age trade announced Beauty fan motors, and a decade ahead of the Bayley-Lee models. Fact Jack. Steve and I did not announce the find back then as neither of us could validate the find conclusively. You judge for yourself. Russ Huber
Joseph Lee HAS connections to Edison going back to the 1880s. One has to ask themself what circumstances create the lack of SIGNIFICANT electrical trade support of the Lee patent motor fan which is very possibly on the market from 93 motor patent filing to as late as 1908. The documented proof needed is so difficult to surface surrounding the patented Lee motor fans.
