Vic Valencheck
Pulled this on off the shelf and decided to restore it. It's a two speed AB/SC oscillator. The Victor in the old gallery has a bullet cover over the oscillator circa 1939. Mine does not have one and there is no screw hole in the back of the oscillator. So mine could have been made a year or two earlier?
Dave McManaman
Nice looking! I've got a similar one, same type badge and oscillator, and have it tagged as about 1935. A picture, below. It doesn't have the wider blades as yours does, which I think followed the narrower ones. I do have another six blade, also with an oscillator box on the back with no dome cover. It has thinner blades yet and the older airplane badge from approximately 1932. A picture of it is also below, as it was when I got it from a local collector/member and as it is now currently waiting to be painted, reassembled, and a missing switch of some sorts sourced. Alec Burns
Love the badge. Reminds me of those old WWII Victory posters.
