Dating Pair of Vintage Window Fans (AMC and Robbins & Meyers)

Hello to all.

I came across this forum after picking up a pair of vintage window fans at my local Savers store and restoring them, then looking for a reference as to the proper oil to use. I would like to identify the age of these fans if possible.

The fans are:

AMC Model 10-8P-4 (green fan). After reading other posts on this forum, I suspect it is a rebranded Hunter fan.

Robbins & Meyers Model 2500A (almond fan)

THE SEAFOAM GREEN MODEL DATES FROM 1961-63 ISH. THE FAN DESIGN LASTED MUCH LONGER INTO THE LATE 60S WITH A DIFFERENT MOTOR AND BLADE BEFORE GOING 7 WING PLASTIC

I THINK THE 4 WING ROTARY KNOB 18" STARTED IN 1958 (INSTEAD OF DOUBLE TOGGLE SWITCHES) . PLUS THAT ONE LOOKS REPAINTED, BUT IN THE EARLY 60'S THAT MODEL WITH THE INDENTATION IN THE CENTER OF THE MOTOR COVER WENT TO A DEEPER TAN BEIGE AND CAME WITH ROCKER SWITCHES AND A THUMBWHEEL THERMO IN CASES OF THE DELUXE MODEL. SO I WOULD SAY 1958-60 AS A STARTING GUESS. WHITE GRILLES DID NOT COME ORIGINALLY BUT A LOT HAVE BEEN REPAINTED

Thanks Juan; I had actually already purchased that oil after reading other posts and oiled both fans. However, I do not know how frequently they should be oiled. I was planning to do it once a month once spring hits and I bring them out. Is that about right?

Great looking window fans look to be in great shape. On the Hunter make sure to check the capacitor on it. They tend to go bad  and leak. When they do go bad it can burn out the motor.
