I sold and shipped one of these. Thin struts bend easily. Difficult to remove cage and blades. Hardest fan ever shipped to ensure protected. End the end strapped down with wire against a board.

Steven - I came across your post while researching a fan that I believe is similar your open cage Polar Cub as pictured above. I'm getting ready to sell mine but would like to have an accurate description. Hoping you can tell me what we have? I was guessing it is from around 1916? Would you have an idea of what it is worth - I'm not finding any like it for sale. Thank you for your help!  Mark
