Dating Robbins & Meyers Dual-Motor Window Fan

Recommended Posts

Hello to all,

I would like to identify the age, model, and CFM rating (if possible from someone who has this fan with all original labeling) of a dual-motor Robbins & Meyers Window fan. Based on the oil hole orientations, I believe this was meant to be mounted vertically in a casement window. Any model number/power rating sticker has deteriorated and been lost. Only the switch control plate remains. The blades are 11" diameter. The current color is my repaint after I obtained it covered in rust and layers of caked sticky paint dust (I was told this was used for ventilation in a paint shop). The original frame color, found in the protected interior of the switch/wiring cover and under the removable circular motor covers, was light grey. I have no idea what color the grills were originally.

Please let me know if you can provide any of the requested info. Happy New Year to all!

Is anyone able to date my fan?

The Hunter twin window fan came out in the mid 50s. Great looking fan!
