It shows three speeds on the switch plate and a patent date of Feb 1903 or 1908, can't tell which. It has a heavy steel handle. I really like the dark green color. The cord is in pretty bad shape so we didn't test it. The friend said he has owned this fan and the coin-op that I posted previously for 30 or 40 years. He said both ran the last time he tested them.
