I FINALLY had an opportunity to get my 1900 GE pancake that I purchased from Richard Daugird and my 1907-08 Emerson 11646 that I purchased from Ben Guegain put together and ready for display.  Both fans are absolute works of art!  The pancake was one of my bucket list items, and the Emerson was a fan that I didn’t know I needed until I saw it….but just HAD to have it!  I’m so happy that I now get to display these beautiful fans in my classroom for all of my students to enjoy!  Can’t wait to bring my variac down here and create a windstorm!  Thank you both Richard and Ben!!!C15C4B3C-ED1A-4E32-BFBA-E59708EB5360.thumb.jpeg.84346db5cfc94000f9618cf9f6bb17b7.jpeg9DCBAEFE-F435-4D35-94EC-FA001BF2A99F.thumb.jpeg.82082f1d9967efbd7bbbe76735f0281d.jpegC81E6AB0-F742-427A-A0C8-5FB4162EDA92.thumb.jpeg.6dc0024dd965b8215a9c9b90252fd5a3.jpegBA0DB126-8D63-460C-9FCE-B5D2FE20202A.thumb.jpeg.eb8c7f923da73d70717645464ca933a3.jpeg8A458F2F-FD2A-4071-A322-AC43F2147721.thumb.jpeg.da30389ac83341b3695ab34f3a712efc.jpeg79C82499-8EEA-438D-90D1-4593F6345449.thumb.jpeg.89214111c4aaec82483c341ccf854111.jpegFFF528E7-6439-429D-B2F8-43F7D2B86B56.thumb.jpeg.f9f2ee83df55e82a623cb689442ec7be.jpeg4BCADB97-D52B-4D34-AEA2-E71F11C8B84F.thumb.jpeg.46f9ca0360e9308ce14bfc11b8e420b3.jpeg4035B7D0-B668-4438-AC14-0474F8D84E08.thumb.jpeg.2d50532fd2fc795c1b76a7eea083ef0b.jpeg

Great eye candy I like what I see.

Thank you!  I can't wait for my students to walk in on Monday (we're virtual the next two days) and see them proudly displayed on my bookshelf!

Two beautiful work of arts.

Thank you so much!  I completely agree....this was back when people actually cared about how things looked, and were high quality!

There's more works of art out there from other long gone manufacturers. Difficult to stop at 2 when you really appreciate the save, but good luck trying.  I certainly failed many years ago at that effort !!!                                                                                 happy fan collector

I have no doubt that there are many, MANY more that I will never have the fortune of owning....either due to scarcity of the fan, or the exorbitant cost of ownership.....but, I will do what I can within my meager budget....these two, for now, are my crowning achievements of many years of collecting.  I definitely own a LOT more fans than these two, but they're the one's I'm most proud of!  Plus the fact that I can show them to my 5th graders, and let them see a tangible piece (or three) of our past, the quality of workmanship, etc.  That makes it worthwhile for me anyway!
